Sad news to share . . .
It is with very heavy hearts that we share the news that Trenton passed away this afternoon at home, surrounded by his family. Our love, thoughts, and prayers are with the Nowak family during this difficult time. The Nowaks have been so humbled by the kindness and generosity of the community during Trenton's illness.
Trenton's family sends "a million thanks to all for your love and support.Love to all."
Information regarding memorial services will be shared once we have the details. KEZI TV , Eugene (Channel 9, ABC) will be airing a story tonight.
We, too, wish to thank friends, family, and the many others who were touched by Trenton's story and so generously contributed so that the Nowak's would have treasured "Time for Trenton." The tremendous outpourting of support has meant the world to the Nowaks.
Thank you so very much. God Bless.

KEZI TV in Eugene (ABC) will Air an update onTrenton's Disneyland trip and wish him a happy birthday tonight at 5 and 6 p.m.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, TRENTON! At Disneyland . . .
Today is Trenton's 7th birthday, and he will be spending it at Disneyland and California Adventures with his grandma, Ronnie and family friend Cheryl Stribling (Shoo Shoo to Trenton and Cash).
Trenton has had quite the adventure since arriving in the LA area Saturday night -- he had his first trip in an airplane and earned his wings, saw the beach, and spent yesterday at Disneyland.
When he arrived at the hotel near Disneyland, there was an explosion of toys and presents waiting for him. Thank you Valerie Gorman for your over-the-top generosity and kindness. We are speechless.
There are new pictures posted to the photo gallery from Trenton's time at Disneyland yesterday. They are having a heat wave here -- it's really hot -- so he has enjoyed the evenings the most.Thankfully, our hotel is nearby and we can take a break from the mid-day heat and let Trenton rest up.
Some of his favorite things so far: shopping at Downtown Disney (especially Build A Bear where he got a bear decked out with all camouflauge accessories, of course!), eating a turkey leg in Frontierland, watching the Disney parade and taking pictures with his camera, the Pirates of the Caribbean (which he rode with sword in hand, fighting off priates) and exploring all the shops in the park looking for something for his fish!
A brithday cake is arriving at his hotel room this morning (thanks again Valerie Gorman!). Today, he'll get to check out California Adventures too.
To all of you who have so generously donated to Time for Trenton, we cannot adequately express our appreciation for you helping to make this special adventure possible for Trenton. We will treasure these memories for a lifetime. Thank you!

Riding in the Fire Engine
Sending thanks and love to Chris Lamb for arranging for our T-bug to take a ride in a brand new fire engine on Wednesday. He loved it. We posted a picture of Trenton inside the the truck, belted in.
Trenton is going to Disneyland!
We excited to share that your generosity has made it possible for Trenton to spend his birthday in Disneyland! Trenton will fly to the LA area Saturday evening. The plan is to rest up on Sunday, and possibly go to the beach. Then, he’ll spend Monday and Tuesday at Disneyland.
Trenton turns 7 on this coming Tuesday. We can’t think of a better way to spend this very special birthday than with Mickey and friends. We are hoping he will feel well during his visit and have a wonderful time.
We are so deeply grateful and humbled by the outpouring of support by the community, especially since Trenton’s story aired on TV this week. We have been so touched by the genuinely kind and encouraging words you have shared with us on this site, as well as your very generous donations and other offers to help. It’s been a very big week for all of us. Also, on Wednesday, Trenton got to ride in a brand new fire truck, and it was very exciting for him.
People wonder how we cope during this difficult time, and this is how. It’s because of people like you. We are so comforted and uplifted by your support. We simply cannot thank you enough, but we’ll try.
Thank you so very much!
Ronnie, Jeff, Trenton, and Cash Nowak
Trenton was a busy boy this past weekend, and he is such a trooper. We want to thank his baseball team, the Lions, for arranging for Trenton to ride in the parade, for collecting donations at the parade and for sharing his story. Most of all, we are so grateful for the outpouring of personal support from so many -- the hugs, kind words, help and prayers mean the world to us.
Saturday, after riding in the parade, Trenton went to the carnival. What he enjoyed most was the fishing game (of course). He won several fish that day, and he was so excited! He couldn't wait to get a tank and setup for the fish, who he named Goldie, Jake, and Dirt.
We want to give a very special thanks to Cheryl and Kory Stribling for all they have done in the past year for our family. We could never get through this without you, and we are so thankful to have you in our lives. We couldn't ask for better friends, and we love you so much. We also want to thank Cheryl's sister, Stacey Huscher, in Phoenix AZ for helping set up this page. Her son Dillon is visiting Cheryl and Kory and spent the day with Trenton and Cash on Saturday. Cash just LOVED hanging out with Dillon -- thanks, Dillon, for a fun day.
On Sunday, Trenton went with fishing with Grandpa Jeff and his baseball coach, Ryan. You can see the day's catch in the photo gallery, as well as pictures from the parade and carnival. We had a fish fry for dinner. :)
Many thanks for your generous donations. We are so grateful and humbled by the generosity of not only friends and family, but also from those of you who have not met us -- you are angels to us.
Ronnie, Jeff, Trenton and Cash Nowak
Trenton rode in the Grand Miners Parade in Cottage Grove today as part of the Bohemia Mining Days celebration. Check out the new video posted to the gallery to watch.
Many many many thanks to everyone who has so graciously donated to help give the Nowak's time for Trenton. The caring and support of family, friends, and others is so overwhelming to the Nowak family. It is during the most difficult times that we are reminded that we are all connected. Thank you and God bless!
