It is been a while since we have posted an update and Jared has been making fantastic progress! He is now home and going to outpatient therapy twice a week. He has completed three online courses and will be finishing his fourth this June. We all continue to push forward through this journey and take on whatever challenges come our way. Our family friends Stephen Parsinos and Tim Grady have set out to stir up another wave of donations in hopes of reaching the $100,000 donation mark. The important thing is networking and spreading out to your known connections, we are not asking you to donate again but to spread this donation site to those who have not seen it yet. As more and get involved and continue to share the message, the amount of people who hear about the fundraiser will grow exponentially.
We are approaching the one year mark of Jared's injury so expect a big update on the Grierstrong website (grierstrong.com) and Facebook page. Thank you all again so much for all of your continued love and support. We wouldn't have made it this far in the first year without you.

Posted on September 17, 2015Thank you everyone for your continued support. We are all home now and Jared is adjusting to his new "normal". Therapy will start next week at The Hospital for Special Care as an outpatient, three times a week. We are enjoying being home after a very long four months away. Jared has created a Facebook Page "Grier Strong" - check for daily updates from Jared!

Posted on July 10, 2015See our latest post directly from Jared!!! www.grierstrong.com - He continues to gain strength and is learning how to live as independently as he can. He is in a manual chair full time now and has been upgraded from a ASIA A to an ASIA B. Discharge date is August 20. Thank you everyone for your fabulous support. All the donations are greatly appreciated!! He will be fitted with his permanent wheelchair this week which will be a power assist chair. In a few months we will evaluate his need for another chair, possibly an electric one, to help him get around school. Again, thank you everyone - the support is overwhelming!!
