This is Braeden. Braeden was diagnosed with neuroblastoma, one of many forms of childhood cancer, the day before he turned 2. For the next 23 months, some of the best medical staff available fought to save his life. After many rounds of chemotherapy, surgeries, radiation, bone marrow transplant and multiple relapses, Braeden passed away quietly in mom and dad's arms on April 18, 2009.
While Braeden's years on this earth may have been few, the impact he made on the world is lasting far beyond his years. This is where we come in. Each year, hundreds of children and their families walk through the doors of Helen DeVos Children's Hospital in hope of a cure. SuperBub's Gift is our way of honoring Braeden's birthday, and with the help of people like you, we deliver countless toys, snacks, games, toiletries, electronic gadgets, gift cards and care bags to support families and the staff of Helen DeVos Children's Hospital in Grand Rapids, Michigan, as they care for the hundreds of children with cancer that pass through their doors. These items help pass time, keep kids minds and reflexes sharp, as well as exercise muscles and lungs that tend to atrophy over time.
We want to thank you for partnering with us each year! Together, we have been able to touch lives in ways that can't be measured, but have lasting value far beyond the dollars. If you would like to know more about us, you can find us on Facebook , our website, or on Twitter.
"To Infinity & Beyond!"
