Last night was beautiful beyond words. Thank you to the Blues Society of Omaha for being so incredible and for organizing the event. I’ll never forget it and it will always mean so much to me. Seriously, anyone out there that’s not a member should consider becoming one because it is such a wonderful community of fun, kindness, knowing how to have a good time, music loving folks! They are family. Check out their upcoming schedule. A big shout out and thank you to all the volunteers, as well as a thank you to Chrome Lounge for hosting the event and the staff for taking care of everyone.
Thank you to all that donated last night, as well as, those that have donated online and everyone that shared the event and crowdfunding page. Thank you for all the loving messages while I was in the Hospital and the messages that are still coming in. You’ve made this scary and traumatic time a lot easier to get through and helped my family. You have given me the time I need to heal the right way. If it wasn’t for you guys I probably would have had to take a break from music for awhile to put my life back together. I felt the love coming from you all the entire time and I still feel it. I honestly don’t know what I would have done without you all.
Thank you to my family for checking on me and making sure that Jessica, Little H, and I were good. Thank you to my fianceé Jess for being such a rockstar this entire time and making sure I’m getting the rest I need. Thank you to my Mom for being there every step of the way too. Thank you Little Hector for being such a wild man and entertaining me on a daily basis. Can’t wait to see you on stage one day!
Thank you to all the bands and musicians for taking time out of their Sunday to be there: Sebastian Lane Band, Mannix, Redwoods, Tim Budig Band, Khayman Winfield, Cleveland Blue, Carl Brown, Big Daddy Caleb, Joel Edison, Lash Larue, Craig Balderston, Jeremiah Weir, Brent Vignery, Justin Shelton, Drew Tvrdy, and more. Special thanks to Cleveland and Joel for driving all that way to play. It means so much that you all were there to play and support. You all owned the stage all night long and I highly enjoyed watching and listening to you all getting down.
You all have lifted me up. You even got me all emotional on the mic 🙂 I promise to keep making music for all of you and never giving up the uphill battle of being a musician in today’s day and age. You are the reason why I keep pushing forward. Thank you from the bottom of my heart and with all my being, thank you! I love you guys and just can’t thank you enough. Next up, I’m doing a few more weeks of healing and then the guys and I are going to bring the best music we possibly can to all of you. See you down the road soon. So much love from me to you ♥️
