As most of you know, on Thursday, April 5th, I had an emergency surgery and was admitted to the hospital for 4 days. It hit hard. I was in immense pain.
These things never happen at a convenient time. I was scheduled to leave on my Florida tour the day after I was admitted. I make my living playing music, so not being able to play means not making money. On top of that, I don’t have insurance because I can’t afford it on a musician’s pay. Most of the time I’m living on the edge financially, but for me that’s the trade-off for getting to do what I love for a living. I truly love making music and making people happy while doing so.
If you could help me in this time of distress I’d be forever grateful. You’d be helping me financially, so my family and my band won’t go without. This would also help to give me the time that I need to fully heal, so that I can keep living my dream career. Every little bit will be a huge help. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I have so much love for each and every one of you.
I also want to give a big shout out to all the UNMC Nurses and Doctors that helped make my stay a warm and loving one. You all made me feel like family and I can’t thank you enough for that.

Thanks to my friends at The Blues Society of Omaha, there will be a benefit show for us at Chrome Lounge on the afternoon of Sunday, April 22nd, beginning at 2pm. I'm hoping I will be able to sit-in, and I will, more than likely, be sitting.
Thank you for visiting my page, thank you for your friendship and support, and I hope to see you soon.
