Officer Raashid Brown from Dallas, PD was informed a family in his community was in need of support. A bright, charming 14-year-old boy, Ayodeji was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer. The tumor located on the side of his brain has been removed 3 times before and has grown back each time. Within 2 months of his recent diagnosis he went from an outgoing student to bedridden. Doctors are refusing to provide referrals for Ayodeji to receive medical treatment at Saint Jude and other facilities. They have now placed him on at home hospice care.
Now the Adekilekun family is going through every family’s nightmare. They are losing a bright star and there is nothing they can do about it. His mother has had to become a stay at home caretaker while her sister goes to school and works to provide for the family. Funds are so tight that the 3 other children did not even receive a Christmas. They most certainly cannot afford the funeral costs.
100% of all funds donated (minus youcarging fees) will go towards expenses the Adekilekun family. It will also provide an actual Christmas for the 3 other children after funeral costs and improved housing is secured due to them living in a 2 bedroom apartment with six people.
