There are 12 in total, so far, who needed to get to the vet. There has been enough raised, where four got to the vet. There are no moneys left of the $1165 on the fundraiser. We will have ongoing veterinarian fees and the care and maintenance of the two cat colonies, a few person cats and three dogs. Tommy Cat is an every three week, approx $100 expense with the vet, due to feline stomatitis. Fatboy's medication for hyperthyroidism will be re-evaluated periodically, to insure proper dosing. 100 pills cost $48. I will be having to purchase antibiotic for six kitties, every month, until further notice. That expense is $75. I am having to purchase a homeopathic medicine to put in the water for the colony kitties, due to the calicivirus. Starting is 15 bottles needed and it cost approx $29 per bottle. We have four bottles. After the first month, it will be five bottles a month unless it is seen they need to do a 30 day from time to time. That bottle is found at the top of our Amazon Wish List. There is another homeopathic medication I am using for Tommy Cat, Winky, Snoball, Solo, Snookie, Baby Mama, Tootsie Roll, Rascal, Mahoney and Mouzer - An anti-inflammatory - due to mouth and bowel issues between these cats. A three month supply cost $135. There is also a probiotic on the wish list, for cats with bowel issues. Also, there is Duralactin Feline L-Lysine, 32.5mL on the wish list for Tommy Cat, Winky and Snookie. Some cats have to eat grain free, senior canned. This is for Tommy Cat, Fatboy, Sunny and Snoball. They also get daily milk replacement and powdered lysine for cats added to their food. Some cats have to have grain free canned food each day, so to add lysine to it. Some cats have to eat grain free dry. That is all very expensive feeding. Other cats eat the regular junk food for cats and I do try to mix it half and half with the grain free dry, in hopes to help ward off crystallization, which occurs most often in male cats and especially male colony kitties. There is canned food, mixed with the dry food. Twelve bags of regular dry food is used every month. The dogs are three, 45 pound dogs, who get monthly heartworm prevention. They also eat a grain free food, which is found on our Amazon Wish List. They eat a 40 pound bag, each month. There is canned food mixed with the dry. Along with all of the above mentioned is the high use of paper towels, paper plates, cleaning supplies, some litter, some litter pans, new outside housing, bedding and hay from time to time, etc... the list goes on for the needs of this many animals. I do not have the funds or the ability to charge any more or take on any more loans to help these animals. Two cat colonies, a few personal kitties and three dogs. The years of their care, since 2004, has taken a toll on our finances and I am having to ask for your help. I do have a regular running fundraiser, I have been running one for two years, in hopes of help to maintain these two cat colonies and the few that were rescued otherwise. It has been near impossible to get people to share the fundraiser and no shares means no help for these kitties. As for the future of all animals in my care, I will need help sharing the methods created where anyone can help, if possible. Any amount is helpful. Any help is greatly needed and appreciated. I would not ask if we were in the income bracket to handle it all but we are not. My heart could not turn blind eye to finding two cat colonies. My heart willing, my pockets are empty.
