It's been some time now since these kids have seen their parents, their siblings, or their community. Today the kids, their siblings, and their parents should be a forever family, but instead, the family is shelling out thousands of dollars in legal fees to fight some folks who just don't respect LGBT folks and people with disabilities. While this family counted down to the day they would be able to adopt their beloved foster children, a provider with a pattern of bias suddenly raised some easily disprovable concerns around the children's medical care and education, which resulted in the removal of the children. The concerns were all investigated and were unfounded and only the children who were still in state custody were ever removed from the home. The family is homestudied and had been approved to adopt these legally free children. This is not a situation in which any biological relatives or other familiar individuals are able to take the children either temporarily or permanently; the children are moving from home to home in temporary foster care while their former foster family appeals the decision. The law seems to be on the family's side, but time and money aren't. Please help this family with legal fees so they can be together as soon as possible.
