The Story

Project Kuya is a humanitarian project that focuses on supplying support for the people of Cebu, Philippines.
Kuya means "big brother" in Cebuano and is used as a term to show respect. Over the years, we have grown so close to the Filipino people. They have become family to us. We feel a very personal responsibility to do everything we can to help these amazing people who have shown us so much love and respect.
In 2016, we did our very first Project Kuya humanitarian trip. We fundraised $5000 and we were able to use those funds to supply food, hygiene materials, clothing, and school supplies. We have been given the opportunity to help our family by fundraising once again for our trip which will take place May 2017.
None of the donated funds will be used for travel expenses or personal use. 100% of these proceeds will be used to help the Filipino people.
We hope that you join the Project Kuya family and donate! $1 is equivalent to 40 Philippine pesos...that's enough to buy 8 pieces of warm bread for people in need! Every single dollar can go such a long way! Anything helps!
If you want to learn more about Project Kuya, feel free to check out our website! You can also email [email protected]if you have any questions.
Salamat kaayo for your support!
