We believe we've been called to be a forever family to the fatherless. We've had our hearts shattered by the lives of the least of these in Africa. We've seen the desperation lived out in begging and digging through trash and waste and we strongly desire to bring a change and love those deemed unloveable. Our goal is to adopt a special needs child--whether that is developmentally or through a medical condition. We desire to love with open arms and open hearts and hope that our village will rise up around us to love our child(ren) and be a part of our forever family.
Evan and I have felt a calling on our hearts towards adoption for many years. We've been to Africa three times and have seen God move in the people we've served and in our own hearts and lives as well. Although our plan was to adopt first, God gave us Maddox and has taught us many lessons about waiting on His perfect timing. After five-and-a-half-years of marriage, we are ready to move forward in our adoption process and we're ready to add another little to our family.
