The Story

Featured on the Travel Channel and voted by Caribbean Travel & Life Magazine as one of the best beach bars in the Caribbean, Elvis’ Beach Bar now needs your help to rebuild after Hurricane Irma.

Help Elvis & Brett rebuild their life’s passion, Elvis’ Beach Bar, was hit hard by Hurricane Irma on September 6th, 2017. Elvis and Brett have spent the last 11 years, building Elvis’s Beach Bar up from a single boat drug out onto the beach to the wonderful island getaway that it was up until just days ago! The many wooden structures that make up EBB were severely damaged and are uninsurable due to the nature of their beach location. Brett also lost all of his personal possessions in the hurricane.  We also have two skilled carpenters from Brett’s hometown in Maryland willing to donate their time and expertise to rebuild when we secure the funds to provide their transportation to Anguilla.

To make matters even more challenging, we are without power for the foreseeable future and making this all happen on generators. We are going to need a lot of help and resources to get back up and running as quickly as possible and also to rebuild the infrastructure that makes up this beachfront island haven.

We appreciate all of your love & support and any donations that you are able to make in helping us rebuild! Every little bit helps- and thank you again for reading, caring and supporting us both over the last eleven years and now in our time of need.

9/8/2017 12:30 pm ET. Kristen here, I spoke to Brett a few hours ago and he is so overwhelmed and grateful for all of the love and support! He asked me to post an update thanking everyone. He also is concerned about the CAT 3 storm headed their way now and with 70% structural damage to the buildings already, wondering how they will weather this next storm. Stay tuned, more updates coming here.

Please also continue to share the link to this fundraiser as the effort and resources required to rebuild and get back up and running is so great that and it is this fundraiser that is  making that all possible!
