The Story

Every year, the Maine Clammers Association's Santa Fund provides needed holiday cheer to economically disadvantaged Mainers. Our clammer elves deliver warm clothing, toys, groceries, and home oil heat  to children, elders, and families in communities up and down the Maine coast.

The people we help are those that typically slip through the cracks of more mainstream Christmas charity drives. The MCA is able to identify and reach these families through our extensive grass-roots network of contacts throughout Maine's coastal communities. We make deliveries to families and elders in Lubec, Machias, Deer Isle, Waldoboro, Harpswell, Brunswick, Pownal, Durham, Gray, and Freeport.

We also use the fund to help people that have fallen on hard times throughout the year. Examples of items the MCA assists with include medical bills, repairing house roofs, and groceries.

But we can't do it without your help! Please donate to the 2017 Maine Clammers Association's Santa Fund.
