The Story

Horribly abused, abandoned rabbits and baby rabbits need to be caught in Boynton Beach, Florida ASAP as more are dying every day!  Approximately 50 + rabbits remain, they are being tortured and killed by wild and human predators(Graphic Photo Warning).

The rabbits are being hit by cars, sick, have abscesses, broken legs, malnourished, found with coccidia and infested with fleas. About 18 rabbits have been rescued, are receiving Vet care and will need spayed and neutered when healthy and of age. However, many are still suffering, helpless and in need of rescue.

Volunteers are needed to help catch the rabbits, cages, X-pens and donations are needed to accomplish this rescue. If anyone from Miami to Fort Pierce area has caging or pens to lend, the Rescue is willing to come pick them up.

Donations would be beneficial or items from the Amazon Wish List.
Oxbow pellets are needed for adults and young rabbits and individual cages to house so many in need.

Please follow East Coast Rabbit Rescue's Facebook page for updates.

The rabbits did not ask for the suffering and fate they are living in and they cannot survive in the wild, please help make this happen.  Thank you so much to all supporters, we couldn't begin to do it without you!

Thirty two of the rescued Boynton Beach Bunnies are now at the East Coast Rabbit Rescue facility in West Palm Beach. These bunnies are being housed separate from the fosters that are now available for adoption. We are quickly running out of space and the new rescues are being housed in borrowed and donated cages used only for emergencies until we can get more space. Foster homes are greatly needed and also adopters to free up space! We will train you in bunny care and provide all you need to foster one or more of these sweet bunnies as soon as they are medically ready - some of the first ones we rescue are ready now. They will need your help to rehabilitate and live the life a bunny should! And check out our Adopt-a-pet page to foster or adopt a particular bun! Thank you everybody for all your support, we couldn't do it without you!! Contact Monica at 561-373-8042
