Sarah was starving and half the size of the other turkey chicks when she was rescued from a "humane" farm and rushed to emergency medical care. Countless animals languish in similar conditions in farms across the country. DxE cannot continue its life-saving rescue and investigatory work, or its powerful demonstrations, without the support of donors like you.
Our campaigns have been featured in The Washington Post, Wall Street Journal, New York Times, USA Today, and The Huffington Post, and distinguished writer James McWilliams says our work is the "most compelling animal activist work being done today."
Through the generosity of a major donor, all donations are doubled in this fundraising drive!
A single trip to the vet costs at least $200+, even if there is no emergency. Total vet bills can run into the thousands.
Every dollar you donate gives you one e-ticket into a lottery for a dinner for two made by the DxE Steering Committee in Oakland (or gift $50 gift certificate to another vegan restaurant of your choice). Try Chris's spicy seitan pancakes, Wayne's world famous chocolate chip cookies, or Priya's amazing pizza!
Sustaining Donors ($100) will receive a free copy of the full color investigatory report, A Deadly Feast.
Major Donors ($500) will receive a free copy of the full color investigatory report, A Deadly Feast, an invitation to weekly video conference "teach-ins" hosted by DxE co-founder Wayne Hsiung, and a signed copy of The Arc of the Moral Universe: How the Animal Rights Movement Will Change the World (expected 2016).
Keystone Donors ($1000) will receive a free copy of the full color investigatory report, A Deadly Feast, an invitation to weekly video conference "teach-ins" hosted by DxE co-founder Wayne Hsiung, a signed copy of The Arc of the Moral Universe: How the Animal Rights Movement Will Change the World (expected 2016), and special access to campaign materials and an invitation to sit in on biannual strategy sessions (in person or via videoconference).
Foundational Donors ($20,000) receive all of the above and will have an activist fellowship created in their name.
Large donors may consider sending us a check, as this will reduce the transaction fees. Your donation will be included on this site even if you donate by check. Just email us at [email protected] to confirm that you've sent a check!
