Dr. Ed Bedore has served in various areas of Christian ministry for more than 28 years. He has served as pastor in churches in Missouri, Iowa , Wisconsin, and Florida. He also served as a missionary with Things to Come Mission in Kenya, Africa for 2 years where he taught in a Bible and ministry training school. He returned from Kenya in 1996 and organized the Berean Bible Institute where he continues to serve as Publications Editor and instructor. Dr. Bedore and his wife, Linda, currently reside in Venice, Florida.
Dr. Bedore was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease by a neurologist in 2014, and the neurologist stated that he probably had the disease for at least 5 years prior to diagnosis. He was put on Sinemet, which is a drug for treatment of Parkinson's Disease and has been on it for the last 3 1/2 years.
In 2016, Dr. Bedore started visiting a homeopathic doctor who screens for different things that cause fatigue and loss of energy, etc. associated with Parkinson's. This has helped some over the last year and a half. It was also found that he had too much lead and mercury in his body, so he began chelation therapy to remove these toxins.
Last year, Dr. Bedore and Linda learned of a program that shows promising for treatment of Parkinson's disease; it uses the patient’s own stem cell from body fat for treatment. So, they visited the National Stem Cell Institute in Brandon, FL and he was seen by the doctor there. After looking at all his medical records, the Bedores were told that he was a candidate for this treatment. However, the price was prohibitive.
There is a need for a few treatments, and the first one alone costs $17,150. Additional treatments are less as they take enough stem cell initially to bank for 3 more treatments. After the first treatment, most likely another treatment would be needed in three months, etc. Each of these extra treatments are $2200.00 each, plus the cost of banking the stem cell. The total cost for all of this is approximately $25,000.
The Bedores did not move forward as this was not possible, financially. Dr. Bedore’s condition is worsening, yet it is believed these treatments could greatly help. That is why we are asking you to prayerfully consider helping with a donation of any amount. He has faithfully served the Lord for decades and has blessed many. Now we can bless him through sharing the burden of his medical needs.

Again, this treatment uses his own adult stem cells, not stem cells from other sources. We are hopeful to raise the funds quickly and get him started on his treatments.
We appreciate any gift you provide. Thank you.
