From Hannah's parents, Denise and John Parkhurst:
Our darling light-filled daughter passed away at 6:47 p.m. last night. At the time of her passing she was surrounded by family and friends. Hannah was a Unitarian Universalist who lived her life according to the principles of her faith. She believed that all people are worthy of love and have inherent worth and dignity. We are asking that if Hannah has touched your life that you reflect that love happiness and Goodwill to others you meet on your path in this life so that her Legacy of love and kindness and happiness will live on.
Friends, Hannah Parkhurst needs our help. If you have ever met Hannah, you have been touched by her kindness and sparkly personality. Now is the time to show her our love and support.
On July 27, 2017, our darling Hannah was T-boned by a suspected drunk driver. She is in critical condition and is undergoing brain surgery to try to reduce the swelling.
Many of you have reached out offering to help. Here are some things you can do:
Financial Support - We would love to help reduce the financial burden so that Hannah's family can focus on being with her and loving her without additional (financial) worries. The money will go to Hannah's mom, Denise, to pay Hannah's medical bills and to help buy plane tickets for Hannah's Dad and Brother to come be with Hannah.
Prayers - Please send your prayers, kind thoughts, and healing energy to Hannah, her family, and her medical team.
