Posted on April 27, 2017Fighting cancer has become Danielle's full time job. Currently, her days are a flurry of non-stop planning and appointments to set up the care she needs (i.e. scheduling biopsies and CT scans, getting biopsies and CT scans, meeting with many docs to see if she qualifies for clinical trials, pain management, etc). While my journey with cancer was much different than Danielle's, I clearly remember that time. I had to take days off of work, not to receive direct care, but to *set up* my care. Her medical bills continue to accumulate as her "co-pays" are substantial ($1600 for a biopsy!). She is playing the waiting game regarding admittance to clinical trials, but treatment will begin ASAP, in whatever form it takes. Please keep sharing this fundraiser to help this fierce woman!

Posted on April 21, 2017Danielle is steadily surrounding herself with amazing professionals who will be her partners in treatment. She is working with specialists at UCSF to see if she is eligible for clinical trials but readying for chemo if that is not the case. Two of her children have been able to travel out to California to support her and she is very thankful for that. Her docs have helped her greatly with pain management which has been a huge relief for Danielle. Thanks to all of you who have donated towards her medical care.
