Set Your Goal

Set the currency you would like to receive the funds in. Once you select a currency, you cannot change it later.

This is the dollar amount you hope to raise. Start with a moderate goal to create momentum. You can always raise it later.

Adding a sense of urgency to your campaign inspires donors to give now! We typically recommend 90 days or less. You can get your money out before and after the deadline, and you can view the fundraiser after the deadline passes.

You can get your money out before and after the deadline, and you can still view your fundraiser after the deadline has passed.

Identify Your Fundraiser

Make sure to include the beneficiary's full name and cause along with a couple words to inspire action. Example: "Help Gina Ober kick cancer to the curb!"

Who should be listed as the organizer of this fundraiser? Typically, this would be you.

Who or what is this fundraiser for?

This helps donors in your area find your donation page.

Tell Your Story

Open this page on your computer to upload a photo.

Nothing is quite as impactful as a video! Right now we only accept YouTube video links for your fundraiser. A video helps you communicate with your supporters and can drastically improve your success rate. It can be just as simple as recording yourself with a camera phone. Once you've uploaded your video to YouTube, put the link to your video above.

If you don't have a video yet, you can upload a photo instead. You'll want to use a photo that tells your story, is good quality (but under 1MB), and is ideally 560px x 420px.

If you don't have either, don't worry - you can leave it blank for now and then upload one later.

This is the main text for your fundraiser page. Tell your story. Cover the what, who and why. Keep it short and to the point. For example: Who is this fundraiser for? How will the funds be used?

Private fundraisers are only viewable via direct sharing of your unique url. Your fundraiser will not be listed in the search results on YouCaring.com but may appear in other search engines like Google.
