Jessica Lynn Johnson (32) and her daughter Gabriella Rose Olesen (14 mo.) had their lives cut tragically short on Saturday, March 10th 2018 by an act of horrific violence while in Ocala, Florida. Their family was not prepared to say goodbye to them.
Jessica grew up in Ettrick and graduated from G-E-T High School in 2004. She was an aspiring Chef and always wanted a large loving family. Her desire to become a chef was because she loved how meals bring people together. She loved baking more than anything else.
Gabby was only with her family a short while but was a very happy and silly baby girl who was just starting to walk. She will never have the opportunity to experience life at its fullest.
Jessica leaves behind two daughters Kasha Bailey (12) and Catherine Johnson (5) as well as grandparents Rose Marie Bailey and James Bailey, parents Lori Bailey and Craig Bailey, sister Nicole Kozicki, Aunts and Uncles Wes Guenther, Marie and Dale Wolfe, Mary Anderson, Paula and Tony Bailey and many cousins.
The families of Jessica and Gabby would appreciate your kindness to ease the financial burden of funeral cost as well as helping Jessica's surviving children for future educational expenses.
Kasha resides with Jessica's mother Lori in Sparta. She is a very bright talented young lady. She spends most of her time drawing detailed magical creatures. She has recently started writing her own fantasy chapter book.
Catherine resides with her father Rob Johnson in Holmen. She just started school and loves cats.
The family will be traveling to Florida to escort Jessica and Gabby back home.
A visitation will be held from 9:30 am to 11:30 am and a celebration of life will be held at 11:30 am Saturday, March 31, at the Gospel Baptist Church, Sparta. Chaplain Jeff Skinner will officiate the ceremony.
