Posted on March 22, 2017Hello all,
Colton's surgery has been postponed to next Thursday due to high blood pressure that makes the surgery too risky. Colton was checked by the cardiologist on Tuesday and he cleared him stating that he had a case of white coat syndrome and didn't see any issues outside of that. The staff had already canceled the surgery before they received the cardiologist report. We've been praying for Gods hand and perfect timing over the surgery and the staff, so we are still believing great things and that God is guiding them!
We would love your continued prayers and support!

Posted on March 12, 2017I can not begin to describe how thankful Connie and I are of everyone's unending support with the upcoming surgery. From close friends to people I've never met, I just wanted to say thank you. Your kind words, prayers, monetary donations and words of encouragement will forever ring in our hearts.
Connie and I are completely trustworthy in The Lord and know that even though this tumor is not part of His will, He will be able to transform this experience into a pedestal for us to share our story for the glory of His Kingdom. The way y'all have surrounded us with love and prayers just further proves that.
We wish that we could extend a thank you to each person that has said a prayer, given encouraging words, shared our post, and given to help with the cost surgery and every other cost that comes with it, but because of the huge response of love that was shown to us, this is the only way we can say THANK YOU! We are simply in awe (and tears) of everyone’s response. To be lightened of a load as heavy as we were handed is more relief than my words could ever explain. If you would share this post so that people who I’m not friends with on Facebook will have a chance to see my thanks to them, we would greatly appreciate it.
I’ll end with a couple verses that have been mine and Connie’s “go to” reminder during this time.
2 Corinthians 4:8-12:
8 We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; 9 persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed. 10 We always carry around in our body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our body. 11 For we who are alive are always being given over to death for Jesus’ sake, so that his life may also be revealed in our mortal body. 12 So then, death is at work in us, but life is at work in you.
