Thank you all so much for your continued donations, your warm messages, and your thoughtful prayers. Colton and his family are in such deep gratitude and are holding you very close in this time of tragedy.
A brief update: he is currently in a nursing home in Pennsylvania close to his family. While he is still appearing to show signs of severe brain damage, the doctors consider it a miracle that he is even alive. He is completely off of life support and is now breathing on his own.
Although comatose, he has episodes of blinking and to some family members, he is showing signs of improvement and communication. While the doctors do not believe so, his family are standing strong in their faith and belief that Cj will heal and come back with a full recovery. He has started both physical and occupational therapy and we are hopeful that both will begin to make a positive impact upon his prognosis.
We are working to get him the best care possible and as you can imagine this will be a slow process going forward. Because of the type of care his injury requires, medical bills continue to increase and your kindness continues to make all the difference in the world.
We are grateful for your donations and prayers. We are deeply appreciative to all whom have given and continue to give, and those who may have wanted to and could not. We are willing to do whatever it takes to help Colton come back and live to continue the humanitarian work he chose as his life's purpose. Thank you all so much for your care, prayers and concern.
With much love and gratefulness !
