As many members of the Clemson family know, Daniel High School Alum and Clemson freshman Clary Miles was injured in a car wreck on October 3 while turning out of a parking lot on campus. The accident happened close to the football practice facilities and the football team rushed to his aid. Several members of the coaching staff pulled Clary out of his car, called 911, stayed with him, and either rode in the ambulance with Clary or followed him to the hospital. Dabo Swinney, head coach and long-time family friend of the Miles, stayed with the players once Clary was taken to the hospital and led the team in prayer before also departing to the hospital. Clary was hospitalized for several days with complicated internal injuries, including several fractures to his pelvis, but is now home. Clary faces months of physical therapy as well as major reconstructive surgery in several months for his internal injuries. The Miles family has expressed extreme gratitude to everyone who has prayed for them during the past several weeks and helped in every way imaginable during this process.
Articles detailing the accident can be found on Bleacher Report

In an attempt to help the Miles family, who now face costs from the ambulance trip, ER visit, X-rays ,CAT scans, a surgical procedure in the ER, and a lengthy hospital stay, many friends of Clary and the Miles family have partnered with Chick-Fil-A of Clemson, WCCP fm, and Clemson Reformed University Fellowship to organize a fundraising day. All day on Wednesday, November 15th a portion of the proceeds from sales at the Chick-Fil-A of Clemson on Tiger Boulevard will go directly to the Miles family to help with medical bills and other costs associated with the accident! We are anxiously awaiting and planning this fundraiser in hopes to help support the Miles family as much as possible during this time! We are also aware of the desire of some to help the Miles family financially who are not able to attend or might want to donate directly to the Miles family - which you can do here! Any and every donation is greatly appreciated and would help the Miles family directly to recoup some of the medical costs associated with this accident. We would greatly appreciate if you considered donating to help the Miles family financially, shared this fundraiser page with friends and family or on social media, but most importantly kept the Miles family in your thoughts and prayers during this time!
