Hi. This little boy is Noah. I would have to say he is the most amazing 3 year old I have ever met. He is sweet, caring, playful and quite smart. This child has endured more in his 3 short years of life than most adults I know. Due to unforeseen circumstances, this child does not have contact with either of his parents and is in the care of his Aunt Chris and Uncle Brian who are his guardians. He has been in her care for the past 7 months with minimal parental assistance from his father and no assistance from the mother. Chris and Brian knew that taking care of their nephew was what God wanted them to do, and so they took Noah in and have been caring for him along with their own children. When they first received Noah he was only speaking a few words and had many behavioral issues. He was later diagnosed with RAD (reactive attachment disorder) which is common with children who have been neglected. They have worked tirelessly with taking Noah to get psychiatric therapy to understand his disorder and help him. To this day, Noah’s behavior has changed drastically and he is improving cognitively. Noah needs these this amazing family to stay in his life. The Pitkin family is wanting to continue with his care and want to adopt Noah so he has the permanent family that he needs and to help him get better with the disorder he has. Unfortunately, adding another child into the household has been straining on the family’s resources and they are needing help with the adoption and lawyer fees. Please consider donating to Chris and Brian to help with Noah’s ongoing care, therapy, adoption and lawyer’s fees. Thank you and God bless.
