In the summer of 2015, our friend Chris was diagnosed with ALS and the battle began. ALS, better known as Lou Gehrig’s disease, is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that effects the brain and the spinal cord causing muscular degeneration and leaving those affected paralyzed. Chris is a husband, father, son, and a great friend who has positively impacted everyone who has come to know him. He is a strong supporter of the community, particularly related to hockey. Without a cure or any real treatments for this disease, Chris’s medical needs will continue to increase. Chris and his family are participating in trials while exploring the latest breakthroughs. This includes stem cell therapy, much of which is not covered by insurance. Please join us at Boondox where Chris used to play volleyball in a league. By contributing to Chris’s fund, you’re joining Team Patin to help SPIKE IT TO ALS.
