Climbing w/ Cade For C.A.D.E. - Devils Tower
With the new rates of Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) reaching record levels of 1 in 36 American children being affected, finding ways to raise money and create awareness to help has never been more important. The volunteer based, Minnesota based 501c3 nonprofit, Children with Autism Deserve Education (C.A.D.E.), is always exploring new ways to do just that. Through various forms of financial support, we are constantly looking to expand our ability to help positively impact the lives of those affected by ASD.
In June of 2019, Caden Larson (an athlete who is not defined by his ASD diagnosis) and John Byington (Cade’s friend, PCA, and a C.A.D.E. board member) will be making an attempt to reach the top of Devils Tower in Crook County, Wyoming. This expedition will be carried out as a charity climb for C.A.D.E. with support from Devils Tower local climbing legend guide Frank Sanders. Regardless of the group making it to the top, they plan to give climbing this enormous 867 foot laccolithic butte their all. Creating autism empowerment through the adventure and raising $15,000+ are additional goals. With the help of your contribution today, something great will happen for the Minnesota autism community!
ALL resources raised through this fundraiser, ie. personal donations, business sponsorship (which include many publicity perks), and in-kind donations will go directly to C.A.D.E. and be used to start a new, FREE, climbing team/club in the Twin Cities for individuals with ASD!
NOTE: Climbers taking part in this mission will be financially self-supported. We also aim to not have costs of any kind throughout the fundraising process and climb, so that ALL proceeds collected will be applied straight to the new climb club/team!
DONATE TODAY:Though donations can be made securely through this website using a credit card, checks can be sent directly to C.A.D.E at 6533 Flying Cloud Drive, Suite 1200, Eden Prairie, MN 55344. Please write Climbing 4 C.A.D.E. on the memo line.
CLIMBERS WANTED: Although you’d be climbing with a different guide earlier/later in the day than Cade and John, we are looking for additional charity climbers to join. If you share the interests of helping children with autism and/or climbing Devils Tower with a group of like-minded warriors, please email [email protected] We ask that climbers cover their own expenses, spread word of the event, and help fund raise as much as possible. A life changing, meaningful adventure is waiting!
IMPORTANT: Since C.A.D.E. is a registered 501c3 non-profit, donations of any kind are tax-deductible. Please contact [email protected] for further information or donation documentation.
