Hi everyone! Thank you so much for taking the time out of your busy day to read this! As some of you know, my 2 1/2 year old son, Paxton, has Stickler Syndrome. Due to this mutated genetic sequence disorder, he suffers from high myopia (extreme near-sightedness) aka, he’s legally blind without his glasses. We are fortunate enough to have insurance that covers a good portion of his constantly needed updated glasses! However, there are many children who are not as fortunate.. with, AND without Stickler Syndrome. Paxton is so beyond blessed to have who we consider the best pediatric ophthalmologist in our area surrounding Cleveland, Ohio. We know a lot of children have Dr. Traboulsi of the Cole Eye Institute as their ophthalmologist. Our short term goal is to raise as much money as we can to purchase “unbreakable” eye glass frames, of all pediatric sizes, for Dr. Traboulsi to hand out for those who cannot afford them. Our long term goal is to be able to set up a foundation for kids, not only for eye glass frames, but lenses as well. We’re calling this special charity, Paxton’s Project. Every donation counts, even $1!! EVERY penny will go to frames for children, and be taken to Dr. Traboulsi’s office at Paxton’s every 6 month visit. Please help us reach our short term goal, so that we can hopefully begin to work on our long term goal! #PaxtonsProject
Thank you everyone!
