Chiara wears her red scarf almost everyday. It was given to her by a dear friend when she arrived home from Canada.

Chiara is having a hard time with screens so she has asked me to update you on her progress. First, she has full hearing. Phew and gratitude. Her skull fracture has healed. Phew and gratitide. The concussion makes everything a challenge. She is ready to go. She is writing letters, calling and campaigning. She is working on the Global Youth Alliance, tracking Drumpf and responding with measured strategy. She continues to inspire - and then she does some yoga, sees her healer, naps and that's it. Suddenly the pain returns, a maddening overwhelm and she has to sit still. Agitation and panic happen. Here she returns to the stillpoint, goes inward and waits. Oh, she wants to play. She wants to be standing next to you and chanting the better world of equity and thriving in, demanding justice, showing support. Instead, she's being asked to read, soak in the silence, catch her breath and practice self care. Thank you ALL for your donations. We are so damn broke it's humbling. Your support truly has been life-saving. Blessings.

t is awe-inspiring to receive your love and support. Chiara is still 'home bound' and only able to tolerate minimal stimulation and movement. However, she did have a sleepover at a friends and she spent two nights visiting her Dad and young siblings. This revived and restored her sense of independence and greater community...she also came home exhausted and continues the eternal nap wave. Chiara's thoughts and passions are clear and bright~ but her thoughts don't feel full and complex to her. Listening to books on tape is an incredible shared experience, but she also finds it exhausting and resents all the downtime. Her own guitar playing and songs rising. She teaches me about strength and patience, drawing on the good. She draws incredible people to our home. Anger comes too. The stress of student loans, not being able to work to make ends meet the costs of living concurrent with the political climate that directly threatens the values integral to her (our) work, and being 'low-functioning' in terms of productivity, plus, physical discomfort, co-exists with daily healing and progression. When you offer financial gifts, it let's her know she is loved and the your belief in her continues. It is odd that 47,000 people will be marching on Seattle streets and it is Chiara and I that will be at home. Incredible times of potential. Let's keep showing up. PS expenses are going to very basic needs. We are not paying for any extras except quality herbs, tinctures and teas. Please, come visit any time!
