“For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord…” Jeremiah 29:11
Adam Joseph McClung went to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, August 6, 2017 after a brief, but severe illness.
Chantel lost the love of her life, her rock, her biggest fan, the man she was supposed to grow old with. They were a modern-day Johnny & June, the kind of couple you aspire to be like. Adam loved my sister and she loved him with a love so real and so incredibly genuine.
Maggie Blair lost the first man who will ever love her the way she deserves. She had her daddy wrapped around her little finger long before she entered this world. She completed them. His eyes lit up when she was around. I honestly believe that being her daddy was his greatest joy and his biggest accomplishment in life.
Adam loved Chantel and Maggie Blair something fierce. He did everything in his power to give them the world. He was passionate about life in general, but especially them – the loves of his life.
Adam was a devoted husband, father, son, brother and friend. To say he lived his life to the fullest would be an understatement. His larger than life personality meant Adam never met a stranger, his smile was contagious and his presence lit up a room in only a way Adam could do. To know Adam was to love Adam. The emptiness in our hearts will never be filled, but we are forever grateful for the memories we were allowed to share with Adam.
We can all only assume that his glorious meeting with his precious Mama was a beautiful reunion.
Chantel, Maggie Blair, their families and friends cannot express how grateful we are for the overwhelming support and prayers.
