The Story

PLEASE HELP US HELP tiny Puppy " Rose" as she fights for her life!

Rose is only 4lbs and was owner surrender in a high kill Shelter in GA. She has been fostered in Ga, fostered in NJ for 2 weeks and was given a health certificate from out vet. All was good until she stopped eating and started vomiting which took us by absolute surprise. She was rushed to the Emergency Vet and tested for parvo.

She is in Crown Vet in Lebanon NJ and was put on Iv fluids, a feeding tube and we are pulling for her. Small dogs have to be carefully monitored to keep the blood sugar in balance. The feeding tube allows them to keep that regulated. The original estimate was $2,100 and she has exceed that amount to date. She wants to live and we are committed to helping her. She is a fighter and we are sure she will make it.

Please consider helping CFR cover little Roses vet bills with a donation by using the DONATE BUTTON our website at www.catnipfriendsrescue.com or a check can be mailed to 39 Mine Street Flemington NJ 08822.

We love our supporters and we love Rose. No amount is too small together we can change the shelter system in the USA and save lives. Thank You!
Love,

Catnip Friends Rescue xo

Tiny 4lb Rose has fully recovered and doing well. Thanks for all your prayers and support. Her white blood cell count fell and then rebounded thank goodness. For some reason they kept monitoring her blood pressure, I will have to find out what that is about. She was given a feeding tube while in Crown Vet and it was kept in place as a precaution even when she was eating on her own. She is home and doing fine and we are thrilled she fought hard.   She was given multiple antibiotics I have never seen so many listed on an invoice. I am happy they worked.

We still need your help if you would like to.  Bills like this are financially draining on a rescue and we would like to keep helping dogs/pups in high kill areas. We know what great homes they get in NJ/PA. Not all puppies are given this opportunity when diagnosed with parvo. Sadly many rescues just can not afford the cost. We know how great the poeple around us are  and how much you all care. AGain Thanks for your continued support! We are nothing without all of you!    Lots of Love, Catnip Friends Rescue
