It is with great sadness, that we share the sudden loss of our father, husband, grandfather, brother, son, nephew, and great friend Chris Salego. God has taken him far too early and we miss him dearly.
On Thursday March 2, 2017 he was rushed to the hospital by ambulance for having chest pains. On the way he went under sudden cardiac arrest where his heart stopped for approximately 15 minutes. The EMS has brought his heart back, but he never woke up. His brain had been damaged beyond repair or recovery. We were faced to make a very tough decision for his future. On March 10, 2017 at 11:00a.m. he was taken from ventilation at the hospital that was keeping him alive. On March 11, 2017 at 5:10 a.m. he was taken from us. Leaving his wife (Carol Salego), 3 son's ( Mathew, Joel, Corey), 3 grandchildren.
After surviving cancer in his late 20s, he was unable to get life insurance.
Friends and family have offered ways to help in this devastating time. We are trying to raise money to cover costs with memorial, funeral expenses, and support for our family in times of uncertainty. If monetary donations are not an option, we ask for your love, prayer and support.
Thank you for your time.
We have some great memories of him, please feel free to share.
