Finn is pretty famous in Canby, Oregon. He is not just a dog to us, but is a beautiful soul.
On the night of February 24th, Finn was hit by a driver that didn't stop. He is hurt pretty bad, and this fund is to help his owners pay for the vet fees, which will be pretty expensive. His left side hip is busted up and they don't know how bad it is... he might lose his leg.
If you can donate a few dollars, myself and Finn's owners, Mr and Mrs Brian Anderson would be forever grateful. Thank You.
A little history on Finn, in early December Finn got of the house and ran away. Finn's owner posted on all the community group pages, in Canby, OC and Molalla, the sightings started coming in and after about 3 weeks, they found the area that he was hanging around. They did everything they could think of to capture Finn, but he wasn't haven't any of it. Brian's wife, went out every day in the snow and freezing temps, to try to coax Finn to coming to her, he would just lay there from a distance and watch her. She sat out there for hours a day, when we were all cozy in our warm houses during the snow storms, she was out there trying to let Finn know he wasn't alone. Then one day, his wife was running around the barn and Finn was chasing her, it was then that Brian had an idea and got a rope. The next time they ran thru Brian managed to get the rope around Finn's neck and finally he went home. The next couple of weeks, Finn wouldn't leave Brian's wife's side, he was attached to her like glue.
However, about 2 or 3 weeks later, Brian was gone and his wife had to bathe her mom who had a broken wrist, so the dog was in the living room with her father. Her father is in his 80's and legally blind, he accidentally let Finn outside thinking it was his dog. He was devastated as was Brian and his wife. So the hunt begun again, however this time he stayed around their house and came back every night, there were many sightings of Finn, mostly around Township road in Canby. People posted on the local group page, Canby Now, every time they saw Finn. Then last night, he was hit. For updates on Finn, please see the Canby Now page where Brian is letting us know what is going on.
Brian and his wife are the most dedicated pet owners I've ever witnessed, they love Finn more then anyone could imagine, however, Finn was abused by his prior owner, and has severe trust issues, that is preventing him from coming to those that love him the most. Finn, is loved by many, and has a whole town standing beside him cheering him on.
