The Story

Borrowed Time Equine Rescue, Inc. is a 501c3 rescue. We purchased a piece of 80 acre property in Nevada in order to have more room and a place where the animals would be safe which would enable us to better care for them. We now need to move our horses there so we are in need to raise money to develop this with a well, septic, fencing, etc.

The well will cost approximately $14,000, the septic $2500 and fencing, costs to move, and excavation of driveway, trailer pad, and any other miscellaneous costs to get our rescue back up so we can start our mission on full steam ahead.  We have plans to help rescue animals, and provide horse therapy for our wounded warrior vets.  Thanks for helping in any small way that you feel led.

We have moved ahead and went into debt to get our well drilled and solar pump.  We also rented a trencher to dig trenches for the pipe to the corrals and pens for watering.  Last week we purchased everything we need to get the water to the pens==booster pump and pressure tanks, solar panels and batteries to run it.  We are at the end of our credit line on cards and really do need some help now.  Please help us make the last mile.  We need to get new tires mounted on the older horse trailer which Cliff completely redid.  We also need money for gas and to help pay for some help putting up the electric fence and to pay for the Electrobraid fencing.  PLEASE PLEASE HELP US with $10 or $20 right now.

Hello everyone.... here is an update on what has been happening.  We were able to drill a well on our new property but we still cannot move any animals there until we have a well pump.  Since we have no electricity , we are trying to go solar and need a solar operated well pump.  The cost of this pump is $3000.  This is a dire situation.  We can move if we build pens on a neighbor's property and she will allow us to use her well until we have the pump.  But this will require twice the work.  We only have our CEO, Cliff who is a disabled vet doing all this work himself.  Can we get some donations to get this pump so that we do not have to do double the work of building the pens and corrals and then remove them and move them again?  Please find it in your heart to help us at this time.  Then we will finally be able to move all the horses.  Unfortunately because we have been so delayed, we lost two horses and one of our dogs had cancer and passed over the Rainbow Bridge.  Please help!
