The Story

There are several sick and injured cats in this feral cat community.  One has been named Bob, the wildcat.  He has an injury on his tail and behind both ears.  He also has severe and bloody diarrhea.  This boy appears to be in great pain and the tail must be amputated.  Anti-biotics should fix the infections on the outside of the ears.  He also needs to be neutered and have his regular tests and shots.  **UPDATE! The encrusted tail has now broken open as you can see in the other pic.  He's in a crate but you can still see how the tail is now in worse shape.  Please help me help this guy.

Blaze is a beautiful and tame calico who has a mass on the side of her face.  The vet said it's an abscess and it recently burst and is now infected.  She also needs to be fixed and have regular tests and shots.

Little Bit is the runt of the litter and is so tiny that the fleas made her anemic.  When I found her she wasn't moving but was still breathing.  I rushed her immediately to the vet and he said the fleas were killing her.  She was just too tiny and malnourished to fight it.  So she was immediately given anti-biotics and a blood transfusion.

There are 12 other cats and kittens in this colony and it is my great wish to raise enough money to get them all fixed and give them the needed vaccines before any more breed or die.  But the first priority is the three mentioned above.  Their lives are at risk.

Updates will be posted here as treatments are given.  Your donation of any size will help.  Please share this far and wide and if everyone gives a little, it will help a lot.  Donations are tax-deductible.

Bob is doing so well now!  His surgery was a bit expensive but as always, well worth it.  Look at how wonderful he is now! I think he looks adorable with his bobbed tail.  Please consider making a donation to help this all-volunteer rescue cover his costs and be able to provide care for more animals.

I just added a picture of a yellow kitten.  I suspect he is the son of Bob because he looks just like him only smaller.  He seems to be about 4 months old and was found outside barely moving, very sick.  He has a severe upper respiratory infection as well as bad diarrhea.  He spent the last two days in the vet hospital getting IV fluids and anti-biotics.  He's on several medicines and is doing better but definitely not out of the woods yet.  He's still very sick and doesn't move much though he is eating on his own now.  He will need a good home once he's well enough and has been neutered.

The expenses for all of the dogs and cats is really starting to add up.  Your help is needed to continue to provide care for these animals.

Bob had his surgery and his tail was amputated.  He was given strong antibiotics to battle the injuries and infections on his ears as well as his internal infection.  He's eating well but still having bloody stools.  He's a feral cat but today he let me pet him for the first time!  He's starting to soften to human contact.  He's recuperating in a large crate inside my home where it's warm.  I'm reluctant to let him go back outside due to the cold but I'm always over protective of the animals in my care.  We still need to cover the costs for this guy.  Please make a tax deductible donation.  No amount is too small and it all adds up.  Thank you!
