Our twin sons were born three months early via emergency c-section due to un-diagnosed Twin to Twin Transfusion Syndrome. Jesse had been medavacked to UCSF, which is four hours away from our home, and needed to stay with our babies over the next three months as they grew. YouCaring made it easy to share our story and our need with our family, friends, and community quickly and efficiently. The platform is seamless, intuitive, and easy to use, and that’s what we needed in the middle of this crisis. We have been able to continue to pay our bills during this crisis through the support we've received through our YouCaring campaign. We couldn’t have organized the support from family and friends without YouCaring! From the bottom of our hearts, thank you!
Thanks to YouCaring, we have been able to quickly and easily raise funds to help a ten-year-old boy with cancer. YouCaring gives you everything you need, a home page with photo gallery and posts, the ability to accept credit card donations, and easily thank your donors. We couldn't have done it with you!
Our nephew Sebastien was diagnosed with eosinophilic esophagitis (EOE) one year ago. He has had so many doctor and hospital bills, we wanted to do something to help. There are so many crowdfunding websites out there, but YouCaring felt right to us. The platform is so easy to use, and free! They are really helpful and actually care. We are so humbled and blessed by everyone who has helped us towards our goal. You have lifted a burden! Thank you, thank you!
When we needed to raise money for my daughter's treatment, I immediately thought of YouCaring after seeing another family's fundraiser. I can tell they truly care, not only about those needing to raise money, but those donating. It was easy to share our daughter's story, and I loved being able to send personalized "thank you's" to all who donated. YouCaring has helped immensely and I cannot thank everyone enough for literally changing my daughter's life. Thank you!
I think what I appreciate about YouCaring is the way how this website helps to create community around a fundraiser. Through all the support, tips and guides we were able to get the word out way quicker and better than we would have been out own. Our family was raising the funds for a film production outreach to Manila. The team will create a short-film to raise awareness for the situation of street children, but also the hope of investing in them. Thanks to YouCaring and God moving people to partner with us, we are fully funded for this outreach!
Our Kenneth Webster nursing care fund was the greatest help to us at such low point after my husband's paralysis became worse from his brain cancer. It was bad enough loosing his income but the cost of nursing home was beyond belief. Youcaring.com was far better than any other crowdfunding platform because they don't keep nearly as much as their competitor GoFundMe (which keeps 5%) keep that in mind.
It's a terrible moment when you are told you have cancer. It's the worst moment, when you are told you have terminal cancer. "If you seek treatment, you can survive for 20-22 months; without treatment possible 6-9 months." Those were the quotes I was given; however that was 5 years ago!! Yes, I fought back.
My war isn't over; but I still have some battle in me too. There have been so many different, even polarized, moments and experiences that renew my strength, re-energizing me to continue the fight. YouCaring is a large part of my fight.
YouCaring gave me a platform to tell my story and share all the updates as they happen. YouCaring is simple and easy for the people getting or giving donations. YouCaring is available to everyone who wants to raise money or make donations; whether you're north, south, east, west, local, or across the nation.
Thank you, YouCaring.
Without YouCaring we would not be where we are today! This site has been wonderful and we have never had a problem using it! I love the update feature and all the options with how we can get the money. It has been wonderful for our family as we go through this second cancer battle.
PS we did use this when my hubby was going through the first battle too and I must say that it has gotten even smoother and easier to work with!
Technology is amazing! YouCaring has given us an opportunity to easily share our story with our friends and family, and they can share it with others with just one click. We've received donations from people we haven't even met, just because of a friend or family connection. It's not only helpful to receive the donations, but also to see how wide our web of support truly is. And YouCaring makes the logistics of sending a thank you email, tracking donations, and transferring funds so easy.
When I learned that my brother was in need of a double lung transplant to survive, I was in shock. I knew that his breathing was labored but until the doctor said, "You need to be on a transplant list," I didn't understand the seriousness of his condition.
That is when I immediately got to work thinking of every possible way that I could help him. I realized that while getting a transplant itself was fear producing or of equal importance was how would he, his wife, and children survive during his recovery. With a high health insurance deductible and an inability to work during recovery their finances would be stretched thin. Honestly I could see potential bankruptcy. So I researched various fund raising websites and found YouCaring. It is an easy to use site with good interface with Facebook and other social media. I posted my appeal on my Facebook site and my family reposted. We were able to raise thousands of dollars. This helped my brother to focus on his health and not worry himself to death about finances. YouCaring was a godsend for us and ultimately for him.
