I have been using YouCaring to raise funds for Ingrid's Haven for a couple of years now and I cannot rate it highly enough.
Twice a year we ask for donations - in Winter to help pay the huge electricity bills that come in and at Christmas/New Year when the Haven is in the peak of kitten season and desperately needing funds to cover the vet/food/litter costs.
The YouCaring site is very user friendly and our followers on Facebook have found it a really simple way to donate.
Thank you YouCaring for providing such an amazing platform for us to be able to make a difference for Ingrid and the Cats at the Haven.
Technology is amazing! YouCaring has given us an opportunity to easily share our story with our friends and family, and they can share it with others with just one click. We've received donations from people we haven't even met, just because of a friend or family connection. It's not only helpful to receive the donations, but also to see how wide our web of support truly is. And YouCaring makes the logistics of sending a thank you email, tracking donations, and transferring funds so easy.
My experience with YouCaring started about a month ago, and it's been very good. I've gotten quick responses to all my questions. The setup with WePay was simple and smooth. And I haven't had any issues with distributions.
I've used a different crowdfunding site before, but they charged fees, that I am not paying at YouCaring. I am thankful to have this tool to help me with my goal of helping a very special dog, for a very special guy.
YouCaring changed our lives overnight. It raised awareness for our cause, and we could rest easy knowing our family would be taken care of. Within three weeks, we had raised over $10,000 for our nephew Lucas and his family, who will need 3 open heart surgeries by the time he is 3 years old. It is absolutely incredible to share Lucas' story, and ease the burden of mounting medical costs--and it is all thanks to YouCaring.com.
YouCaring was a big part of how my husband and I were able to bring our daughter home through adoption fundraising on their easy to use site and very effective page set up. We are forever thankful and grateful for YouCaring, it truly is a wonderful fundraiser site.
My wife wanted to start a fundraiser to buy a wheelchair accessible van for transportation. I researched YouCaring because it did not charge a set percentage but rather a voluntary contribution. Many people were concerned about that so YouCaring was the way to go. I was able to raise enough money for a down payment, but then my wife got suddenly ill and died. I was able to contact all of the donors about returning their contributions, but everyone said to keep the money for medical bills and funeral costs. It was awkward at first, but being able to contact everyone and explain the situation worked well. Circumstances change. YouCaring was very professional and helpful throughout the whole process. The site was easy to use. I was 100% happy and would recommend YouCaring to anyone. Thanks, Frank Leahy
WOW! Where do I begin! First off, thank you so much YouCaring for having a free platform which states from the beginning of our experiences with you that "YOU CARE!" The support from the site alone is amazing! The tips to make your fundraiser a success for your emergency needs, the reminders to post you updates...it's wonderful! I'm a 52 year old mother of 3 and diagnosed with pituitary carcinoma in 2009. I've had to leave my job and rely on disability and still have major medical bills and expenses! I've been in remission three times so I'm praying is going to be one more after seeing specialist in Chicago. I've never depended on public assistance, never asked anyone for anything to help when there were times I needed it, I've worked my entire life and now that I'm unable to work, trying to get medical assistance has been an ordeal! I'm positive, always wearing a smile, always encouraged and my faith is strong! It hasn't been a week since I've started this fundraising path and is going great. Even if people can't donate, the information is getting it there which has reunited me with so many classmates and friends so that's a plus in itself! For anyone who is experiencing medical hardships or any unexpected, financial emergency crisis in your life, YouCaring is the format I suggest and recommend. I'm totally in disbelief that so many people have donated, extended well wishes and contacted me to offer assistance. This wouldn't have been possible for me personally had I not decided to give YouCaring a try! I can't thank you enough!
When we began looking for a way for friends and family to donate to our goal, we knew we couldn't go with sites like GoFundMe because they took so much of the donation in company fees. When we found YouCaring, we knew that this was a great way to share our efforts, raise funds, and not lose money to a company profit. It is very hard to share your situation with others, but we have been so blessed to have many people visit our page and give to our son's medical need. YouCaring is a great tool for sharing information and is a company that puts the people who use it first!
YouCaring has been the perfect tool to blog and fundraise for our adoption. It's been part of our journey and will always have a place in our story! I love that I can post updates whenever I want to and post it directly on my Facebook page. It's been very easy to use and we highly recommend it! Thank you!
Many thanks to YouCaring for providing such a wonderful venue to help my brother and his family through his battle with cancer.
