This week, we’re reminded of pets in need of homes, health care, and love. Take a look at these adorable kittens and cats that would benefit from your donation, adoption, or simply by sharing their story on social media. If you “like” or “share” these YouCaring fundraisers, each share earns $37 on average that goes directly to the fundraiser. We hope you can help give these felines a new and healthy life!
Pet Rescue and Adoption
Pet rescue organizations save animals and try to place them in adopted homes. These nonprofits need financial support to provide veterinary care and proper food and shelter. One way to support kittens and cats is to support these organizations’ crowdfund fundraisers.
For example, the Paradise Animal Rescue is raising funds after its current building was sold suddenly. The nonprofit needs to raise $30,000 to cover the cost of the building’s new heat unit, ventilation, air condition, electricity, water, drain system, flooring, insulation, fencing, as well as all additional renovations. For the 70 animals it now holds, life is uncertain with the relocation and lack of funding.
Spay and Neuter Kittens
Donations to spay and neuter kittens is vitally important. Project Purr Animal Rescue welcomes your donations to provide these services as well as vet care.
In Florida, 19 kittens are battling a disease called Acute Panleukopenia, better known as feline distemper, at Saving Sage Animal Rescue Foundation. They were rescued and then spayed and neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped, but then fell ill. Now in quarantine, these kittens require financial assistance to continue treatment. Iris suffered a dislocated hip and broken leg, possibly from a car accident. She and her feral cat litter mates were discovered and treated, with more care required. You can help Iris recover by donating to her cause.
