Right now we are asking for your help and support as we are struggling financially to keep Blessings going. Please donate, share and help us get through the end of this year. Let's stick together as a community, if everyone makes a minimum $10 donation in honor our 10 year anniversary it will help tremendously.
We have served the homeless this past decade because of the amazing support in our city. We have remained a grass roots organization, focusing and putting our mission first.
Thank you so much for your donations, service and your heart to help us get through these challenging times ahead. You can donate on here or go on butb.org to make one time or monthly donations.
Please help us rally so we can continue to make a difference in our area & continue with our mission. Read below for more information on Blessings if you have not heard of us!
Blessings Under the Bridge is a local a non profit here in Spokane. It was founded in 2007 by Jessica and Mike Kovac with 40 browns bags and a case of water. What began as a passion to simply love and help the homeless of Spokane has quickly grown into a community-building event. Every Wednesday night close to 350 people are served by more than 75 volunteers. Beyond our Wednesday night meal event, we provide two of the largest free events for the homeless and less fortunate here in Spokane: Our Summer Bash and Winter Brunch. Each event helps, serves and blesses over 1,000 men, women and children. 10 years later they have served over 100,000 people in the City of Spokane. Their journey and stories have been shared, through People Magazine, the Rachael Ray show, TED, the Lifetime Channel and many other platforms.
Blessings Under the Bridge: it's more than a meal,“it's an experience”.
We offer a wide variety of stations to those who are homeless and less fortunate; including families and children to come and be served a delicious catered style menu. 7-10 courses that include a hot meal. They also receive groceries, drinks, treats, and pet food, medical and more. They can shop for clothing and receive other necessities such as seasonal items, blankets, toiletries, haircuts and other resources. We also allow all people, churches, schools, businesses, and groups in our community to get involved, come face to face and serve those who are often alone and hungry or just looking for a little acknowledgement. We provide an opportunity and experience that impacts the life of who is serving. A time that opens eyes, hearts and minds.
Live Love and Serve!
All our love, BUTB Family
