The Story

I am a 29 year old mother of three. I've been doing daycare in my home for nearly 3 years and absolutely love my job. I work along side the parent, not for the parent. I do my very best to be a positive advocate for the children in my care.

I have always offered low cost child care in my home and decided I would like to expand my services to "Kiddie Kare" which I hope to open by January 1st 2017. I have the qualifications, I have found a business location and created a business plan for Kiddie Kare; the only thing I don't have is the funding for start up costs.

Kiddie Kare will be a low cost daycare center in Klamath Falls, Oregon dedicated to helping parents and keeping them from financial stress because of childcare rates. Kiddie Kare will provide exceptional, reliable and trustworthy child care at an affordable rate.

I am now asking the public for help with start-up costs. Any donation, big or small, helps immensely. Anyone who wants to donate but is unsure, is more than welcome to pay for something more directly than donating here. I'll also be happy to provide receipts for any money spent from the fundraiser. No funds will be used for anything but Kiddie Kare and the start up fees. This includes rent, equipment, furniture, supplies, food etc. This establishment will be a great help to the families in Klamath Falls. Please donate if you can, even $5 helps.

I also want to add that if for ANY unforeseen reason this plan falls through, the collected donations will be given to the "Make a Wish Foundation". The Make a Wish Foundation is a program dedicated to granting wishes for children who are suffering from life-threatening conditions. Read more about their program at I will provide proof of the charities given as well. Either way, I assure you, your donations will be given to a good cause surrounding children. Please donate!

Thank you so much in advance and I hope to see you in my establishment soon! :-)

Fundraiser Updates

Hello all, I just wanted to post an update. I want everyone to know where we are in this. I have a building in mind for Kiddie Kare. The guy who owns it really likes what I am trying to do for Klamath County families. He has agreed to hold the building for $300 (payable by November 15th). This is one thing I need funding for as of right now. As of January 1st, I will need more funding. I am looking at somewhere near $5,000 to start out. This will cover rent, bills (power, water, gas, cable/phone), food, equipment and furniture. To lower some of these costs, I am asking for people to also donate the following items if they can. New and used items are welcome but if they are used, they must be in great, working condition please. Here is a list of the needed items:

high chairs, playpens, changing tables, microwave & stand, electric oven, deep freezer, vacuum, shampooer, couch, big table for children (big enough for 10?), baby gates (and other safety items), towels, electric washer/dryer, end table, decor items, rugs, dishes (pans, cooking utensils, silverware, cups/bowls/plates, cookie sheets etc), craft items (yarn, paint, paper, stamps, googly eyes and such), cubbies for kids projects/shoes, toys, leftover diapers, towels/washcloths, blankets, bulletin boards, cash register, books, toys. ANYTHING and EVERYTHING you can think of for a daycare. Please help me make this happen! I'll be so grateful!
