Due to Hurricane Maria and the precarious situation that Puerto Rico is going through, the American Student Dental Association (ASDA) Puerto Rico Chapter would like to assist the students of the University of Puerto Rico School Of Dental Medicine. The School of Dental Medicine did not suffer any major damage and its didactic courses will resume on Monday, October 9th, 2017. Clinics will resume sometime in the next two weeks as soon as the Medical Sciences Campus certifies their use. All graduate programs are working at their assigned facilities. But still students and dental school employees have suffered losses. To help them restore their lives back to normal we are planning to raise money. To accomplish this goal, we need to raise funds to provide food, water, and essentials to our students and those in need. As ASDA Puerto Rico President, any amount you decide to donate will be very much appreciated and will make a huge difference in the lives of our students affected by this humanitarian crisis.
