John and Evangeline Anderson are the wonderful and hard working owners of Anderson’s Country Market, an Amish style store that carries an amazing selection of products you won't find anywhere else in the area. Organic produce, non-GMO corn and flour, bulk natural spices, and homemade foods such as pies and breads are just a few of the items found at this market. The deli sells sandwiches made with bread whose recipe has been handed down for generations, along with a variety of meats and cheeses. The nursery also has beautiful flowers and seedlings at a high quality not found at many other stores.
Since opening the doors of their current location six years ago, the Andersons have made a place for more than 50 small local vendors to share their wares and generate steady income. They also have provided a free venue for networking and educational opportunities to benefit the local small business community.
Now the community has an opportunity to give back to Andersons. The store roof is in urgent need of replacement. The spot repairs of cracks and leaks are not producing lasting results. A professional, complete, guaranteed roof repair will cost $12,000. It may not seem like a large amount of money, but it is a big burden for this small local business. Please consider donating to help repair the Anderson’s Country Market roof – any amount will help!
