Posted on July 5, 2017Today is heart stent day. Prayer for God's will, His glory, protection, guidance, and peace. We are so thankful for all the prayer, love, and support. This is a huge battle we are facing, but in all things we are overcomers, we are victorious, we are undefeated. We have completely surrendered to God and are
walking by faith the best we can. We are so overwhelmed by His love, and His ability to sustain us through every twist and turn of this roller coaster. We will praise Him until the very breath in our lungs gives out. For He is worthy. We are going into this surgery with praise on our lips. We will update as we can. Thank you all. ❤️

Posted on July 4, 2017Update: CT scan results: the cause of the swelling in Hayden's neck, face, and body is from a tumor pressing on his heart. Restricting proper blood flow.
He will have a stent placed in his artery on Wednesday, this will help alleviate all the work his heart is doing and allow proper blood flow. This kid has not complained once or slowed down, he's a champ.
Honestly, we weren't scared or shocked by any of these results. I honestly had such a peace and joy during all of the results.
We are starting a new chemo, this is a stronger chemo than the pills, but not as harsh as the previous chemos.
There is moderate fluid beginning to accumulate in his left lung, and a minimal amount in his right lung.
The disease is progressing.
Here's the thing he had zero chemotherapy drugs for over 3 weeks, then he started a pill regimen and it takes a while for pills to work. Not a great combo for aggressive cancer.
We are so excited to see how he responds to this new chemotherapy. We will forever hold on to hope and stand in faith.
Here's the great news: he's not symptomatic, his breathing is good, his energy is good, he is in great spirits.
I cannot stress enough to not give up hope, to not give into fear, doubt, or unbelief. No man can order any of our days, that's in God's hands and we trust Him fully. If you are faith filled pray boldly, go before the throne and proclaim the Word of God and its promises of healing over Hayden. Faith is our greatest weapon and it's the most powerful one in our possession.
My prayer requests are:
Pray the surgery for the stent goes well and uneventful.
Pray this new chemo aggressively attacks the cancer cells.
Pray that Hayden responds quickly to the new treatment.
Pray for provision-we are going to be traveling a lot more than we planned.
Pray for protection.
Pray for our other children in this new season.
We are eternally grateful and thankful for all the love and support you've shown us throughout this journey.
