John van den Heuvel and his wife Alice de Haan, originally from the Netherlands, had envisioned a bright future for themselves as permanent residents of the United States. Having recently moved to Seattle, Washington after both serving at the Dutch Consulate General in San Francisco, they opened PathFyndr, their transatlantic business development consultancy, blazing a trail for others while blazing their own trail and continuing to follow their dreams in America.
However, on Sunday, February 11, 2018, John suddenly passed away while doing what he enjoyed most -- hiking the great outdoors. He was 52 years young.
With a heavy heart, Alice has decided to leave Seattle to accompany John back to the Netherlands, where he will be laid to rest and where she will spend the rest of her life, in the comfort of both their families.
As you can imagine, Alice is devastated by this sudden change of her and John's life's path. Any assistance you can provide in bringing John home and easing Alice's transition back to their birth country -- close to John -- would be greatly appreciated.
