After being married for a year, we decided we wanted to start a family. Unfortunately, a year later we were told our only hope of having babies would be through IVF with ICSI. We decided to go for it, and surprise it worked on the first try - TWINS! We were so excited to be expecting. But at 19.5 weeks pregnant I started having contractions and due to an incompetent cervix, we lost our twin girls, Gentry & Savannah. After taking time to grieve, we began exploring other options for growing our family, including adoption.
After 2 failed frozen embryo transfers and a year "off", we are now pursuing domestic adoption to bring home our Baby Sully. The past 4 years have been full of several trials & heartbreaks, but God has allowed our hearts to be full of hope as our new journey begins.
We look forward to the day we can add a baby to our lives. For years now we have watched the children close to us grow up, and it has brough us so much joy. We have seen first smiles, first steps, first birthdays, first concerts, first crushes, and so much more. We can't wait to be able to share in these firsts with the child we will welcome to our family.
We look forward to making new family traditions and teaching a child the traditions we already have. We are excited to hear our home filled with a baby's cry and their laughter, the sound of their feet running down the hall, and the words Mommy and Daddy.
The estimated cost of our adoption is $37,500, but any little bit can help. No donation is too small. Just think if 50 people donate $20, that's $1,000! If 50 people donate $50, that's $2,500! It all adds up.
We appreciate anyone willing to make a donation. We are so ready to become parents!
