Adam Wesley suffered a cardiac arrest, at home, in November 2015. His wife, Sam, performed CPR for over 20 minutes until help arrived. After being in a coma and waking up unresponsive, the doctors did not expect Adam to recover. There had been too much oxygen loss to his brain. God gave us a miracle and 17 days after his cardiac arrest, Adam became responsive. He spent 200 days in the hospital and various rehabs. Fast forward to now, October 2017. We are almost 2 years post cardiac arrest. Adam has been deemed permanently disabled, he still attends speech and physical therapy twice a week. Although Adam has made miraculous recoveries, he is still not the same person. The Anoxic Brain Injury still affects our family on a daily basis. Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) has been proven to help ABI patients improve. However, it is not an approved treatment and insurance will not pay for this therapy. The most cost effective way is to purchase an HBOT chamber for our home. This will allow Adam to use the chamber daily. The HBOT chamber that we are raising money for can be found in the pictures. I know that God can heal Adam and we pray everyday for this. But Luke 18:1 also says to never give up. I refuse to give up on Adam and if there are possible treatments out there that could help him, I owe it to him and find a way to get him that treatment. I am saving money but as a single income family now, I fear that this treatment will continue to be prolonged. Any amount that you can contribute will help and will ONLY be used towards the purchase of an HBOT chamber for Adam. Thank you all for your continued love, support, prayers and compassion.
