Adam Rippon has been named to the 2018 U.S. Olympic team!
This is a dream come true not only for Adam, but as the oldest of six children, it is a dream come true for his family! All of Adam’s siblings are full-time students: two in Grad school, two in college, and his youngest brother still in high school.
Brady, sometimes referred to as the “Bonus Rippon” is my good friend, former classmate, and younger brother to Adam. Now that Adam made the team, I want to do all I can to get a few “Bonus Rippons” to Korea so that Adam has a solid support system in place to join his mother in PyeongChang. I was shocked to discover that traveling to and staying near the venue for the Winter Olympics is so expensive even in the most modest accommodations. Additional costs of event tickets and transportation can add to the estimated costs of more than $10,000 for one attendee.
We want to make sure that Adam has as much support and hometown love as possible to help him deliver his best performances while he represents the United States at the 2018 Olympic Games. I am asking for your help in sending some of his brothers and sisters to Korea!
We can do this! I am grateful for any amounts that you can contribute. We are all so proud of Adam’s long, successful career and for being a role model. Let's bring a little sibling love to Adam and make sure he has everything he needs to perform at his best at the Olympic Winter Games. Thank you, everyone!
