Dave Antrim passed away on December 7, 2015 after a short battle with a rare brain disease. He left behind countless people who loved him and wanted to find a special way to honor him.
Jonathan, Dave’s son, spoke such beautiful words at his father’s service describing Dave as a man of kindness, joy, charity, faith, and success. But, the attribute he felt that Dave cherished most was his ability to encourage, lead, and mentor. Whether it was the realtors in his office, the players on his teams, his two wonderful children or anyone else lucky enough to cross his path , Dave left everyone feeling happy, encouraged and confident.
One of Dave’s many passions was Mustang Football. He was the first all-state football player from Salina, KS. He was a dedicated fan for his own son and so many other Mustang Football players. A scholarship has been set up for a Salina Central High School football player called The Dave Antrim “Every Play Matters” Memorial Scholarship. A $10,000 endowment fund will support an annual $500 scholarship.
