The Wy’east Orchestra program would like to send out one final thank you to all of our supporters of the Better Bows Project by sharing our performance of the National Anthem using the bows and a link to hand written thank you letters from all of the students.
National Anthem Project
Upon returning from spring break the students took on the challenge to learn the Star Spangled Banner by ear and then perform it at the final pep assembly. Students learned the entire piece without music. Students that figured out the music faster helped others. It was a great orchestra community effort. In order to foster the “By Ear” experience, actual print music was never handed out to the students for this experience. We used the Coda Bows during the performance.

Student Thank You Letters
Prior to leaving for the summer, every student wrote a hand written thank you expressing in their own words appreciation to everyone who shared our video and contributed to our Better Bows Campaign.
Thank you letters from students:
We look forward to many years to come of making beautiful music together at Wy’east with our new bows.
