We have had a parvo pup, we have ringworm, we have removed eyes, fixed gunshot wounds, removed toes..there are dogs that need heartworm medication (slow kill method) dogs that need spaying/neutering..none of this is possible without your help. It has been TEN MONTHS since any animal has been euthanized for 'space' in this tiny facility and we have saved well over 300 dogs/puppies and numerous cats/kittens from DEATH..I am NOT A NONPROFIT OR A SHELTER..this is all done at the vet's office and out of a tiny eight kennel animal control facility..If you can help PLEASE DO..every single dime goes towards vet care and boarding of these precious souls.. If you prefer to donate directly to my vet their address is Robertson County Vet, 3206 Highway 6 South, Hearne Texas 77859, telephone no. 979-279-9201...If you would like to contat ME about any of these precious furbabies or their care, call me directly at 979-279-6388/ ALSO FIND US ON FACEBOOK AT URGENT ANIMALS OF HEARNE ROBERTSON COUNTY TEXAS, thank you all for travelling this long hard journey with me..I am NOT an employee, I do not get compensation of any kind, in fact I use a lot of my own money to keep this going..thank you all for your trust and help. It is day by day/animal by animal..here is an update:I have had 4 of the 5 dogs that need vetting done, all fuzzy pups have skin issues of one form or another and are being treated and are in foster care in various homes..there are dogs in boarding that will stay in boarding or be swapped out as I get new dogs in (I have been informed that I will probably getting two today), I have also been informed by the aco that we will most likely be getting three more LITTERS OF PUPS NEXT WEEK..always remember this is animal control..it used to be l00% kill..we are almost a year kill free for space, I only have EIGHT kennels to work with, if you look at my page Urgent Animals of Hearne Robertson County Texas on facebook and look at my adopted album and my currently adoptables album you will see that this has been by no means a small feat..it is not possible without your help.I am NOT A  NONPROFIT OR A SHELTER..this program is done in the actual animal control building..the only safety net I have for these dogs is fostering and boarding for time until they get the proper treatment and home..please help me continue. If you would like to donate directly to my vet you can call them at 979-279-9201 and they will apply it to Urgent. If you EVER have any question about any of these dogs/cats that are in care here, please contact me directly at 979-279-6388..PLEASE REMEMBER  FOSTER/ADOPT/SHARE/DONATE..it does work, it does save lives..

I want to thank everyone who is helping me save these lives..an update on all the fuzzy babies, skin issues are popping up on all of them as they came in with such weak immune systems, most are being treated for one or more skin problem including but not limited to sarcoptic mange, I am fully expecting ringworm to start cropping up anytime as well..All pups beginning with O (Octavia, Opal, etc) have had uris and we are almost over those now..they are getting adopted out fairly quickly but want to keep the rest in foster care until we know this is OVER..Hannah had surgery to remove a suspicious growth on her side that came up pretty quickly, she is in foster care so we had to have it done as it had a "wierd" feel/look to it, she is doing well and the biospy came back benign..It has been almost ELEVEN months since this facility has had a kill for space, this is incredible and I am most humbled to have your trust and faith in what I am doing here, I do want to remind everyone that this is not a shelter, it is animal control..and I am not a nonprofit..it is day by day, dog by dog, I am sure if you are on my facebook page Urgent Animals of Hearne Robertson County Texas  you notice that I do get dogs from out of the area from time to time, that is because they are like these, I do line up fosters/etc. for them prior to them coming her and most of them are small so they are easier to place, thank you for supporting me in helping others as well..ALL MONEY GOES straight to the vet for care and boarding, NONE is spent on food, toys, nothing, that is either donated or supplied by myself and my husband along with putting money into vetting and other things as well for these babies. If you ever have any questions about this adoption program or any of these dogs, please contact me directly at 979-279-6388/ if you would prefer to donate directly to the vet their no. is 979-279-9201. I have upped the goal as we have been hit extremely hard this month and it is all being used..I have just turned over most of it to the vet. Thank you, Deb 979-279-6388..

I have upped the amount of the vet fundraiser since April lst we have had 27 puppies come in some in EXTREMELY bad shape, we lost one, had to amputate the leg off of one and toes off of another because of infections (only 7 weeks old mind you)..We have been battling u.r.i.s with dogs in foster care, skin issues with the pups, we had a pup come in with a crushed back end that we had to humanely let go after x-rays even though we knew in our hearts before the x-rays we would have to make that horrible decision..I do not know how to thank you for continuing to support these animals and put your trust in me, knowing that I am NOT a NONPROFIT OR A SHELTER..this is all done out of an 8 kennel facility that was l00% kill prior to June of last year (actually we started a bit before that but consider that our "true start date" because that is the day I started the facebook page Urgent Animals of Hearne Robertson County Texas and cranked it into high gear to save their precious lives, no one cared prior to that time..thank you all for caring and the tremendous support you have given. I would also like to extend a VERY special thank you to the Waltrip family that asked that donations be made to my vet in lieu of flowers when they had the celebration of life for Christoper Waltrip, who they lost in January of this year..I am humbled beyond words that you did that for these babies, and as they were having the celebration of life for this l9 year old young man, I was at an adoption event, we got SEVEN homes for babies, I am sure beyond a shadow of a doubt that he had a hand in that as well..thank you so much Mary McCrae Waltrip for sharing your wonderful son and his love for animals with me..
