Hi Everyone out there,
Thanks for taking a moment to read my story. This February I made the roster of the German men's national lacrosse team. It was a dream come true. I am only 17 (soon to be 18). Going to the world-cup in Denver costs a ton of money. There is airfare, acommodations, food, equipment, etc. So we decided to do some fundraising online. I love the sport of lacrosse; I have been playing since I got to Berlin in 2008; and it looks like I got a talent for it. The whole thing is a bit overwhelming, but I am excited to go represent Germany and the sport of lacrosse. I hope you can help me out get to Denver. I wish we had the funds the German soccer players have, but this is a developing sport and to make it bigger, to support my dream, and to support team Germany, I am going to need others to chip in. Thank you for any donation. PS: we did like a ton of video takes. I am not that good in front of the camera, because I was nervous to ask for money, but hey, what you see is what you get. Lukas.
To my supporters:
Hey guys, I'd like to say thank you to those new supporters that have just donated to the Denver Endeavor, thank you. So, here are some quick updates about the progress of Team Germany. We recently paid the first installment for the equipment, lodgings, etc. We also have the flight ticket bought and I'll find out when I fly out to Denver. It might be a couple of days before July 1st. My coach from America will also be playing for the Dutch national team; we both have been put on training programs for the World Championships. The work is hard and tough, but it's fruitful and results can be seen already. I'd like to say thank you again to all the people that have helped me reach this far and the goal is pretty much insight.
Hey guys, a shout out again to all Lukas supporters on his way to the lacrosse world-cup in Denver with team Germany this summer. To this day, you all have contributed $3,445 on Lukas's way to $5,000 (the fundraiser says 2,556, but some have donated via other avenues). As a family, we are all blown away by your generous support. Thank you for contributing! Thank you for blessing and encouraging our son this way! Ingo & Capri
Dear Wonderful Supporters,
Sorry for note keeping you all up to date, but here are some things to come and what's happened so far. A few weeks ago I was in Stuttgart playing in the Springball Tournament. It was the first time Team Germany played as a team, and I have to say, it was truly amazing. Basically, it was the best team I've played with so far. We won all of our games except for one, but hey, it's all about having fun and growing the game. Anyway, that's what happened 2 weeks ago. In the upcoming month or so we're hoping to make a little video that shows you guys what I do in a normal day, maybe a lacrosse video, we'll see. Again, thank you guys very much. It's really encouraging! Remember the little donations are the donations that make all the differnce, so it's okay if you donate $10. Have a wonderful day!
Hello Lukas fundraiser supporters! 50%+ of the campaign goal has been reached as of this morning. So cool! That is $2,486. We thank God for every dollar. $5,000 is the goal. Outside of youcaring.com, several other donations have come in (total of $450). That means, Lukas is closer than we think. Please continue to share for prayer support and donations. The campaign video is almost up to a 1,000 hits. This weekend, I am speaking at a pastors conference in Spain, so I won't be doing much here. Thus, I wanted to give out another shout for my son. Be blessed and thank you for blessing my son.
Have a blessed Sunday everyone! Thanks to all who donated and will donate to Lukas's Denver Endeveor dream. As parents, Capri and I are truly speechless and thankful by the many responses. Lukas is still in Stuttgart playing a hard-fought game against Hamburg as we speak. Danke, Gracias, Thank YOU. (Campaign is up to $1,741!).
To My Supporters,
Thank you so much for the first couple of donations! It truly means a lot to me, and I have to say, I was quite stunned when I received the first $100. You guys are making a dream come true and because of that I thank you. Every donation counts, no matter how small it may be.
