This very important fundraiser is to help give back to a charity that gives so much to its families. Ronald McDonald House Charities - Upper Midwest's Oak Street location plays a vital role to families in crisis; including families of children with Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB). EB is a genetic connective tissue disorder that causes severe blistering of mucous membranes with even the slightest friction. RMHC-UM's Oak Street location becomes a home-away-from-home for EB families whose loved ones undergo a bone marrow tranplant at the University of Minnesota's Amplatz Children's Hospital. Let's do our best to give back to RMHC-UM in their time of need. To provide effective housekeeping care for families residing at the facility, RMHC-UM desires to provide each resident with the best quality vacuum for housekeeping. Currently, all of the rooms in the facility require replacement vacuums. Unfortunately, their budget does not allow for the purchase of desperately needed replacement units. It is our desire to raise money to help them purchase new vacuums.
