Thank you.
-Miami Dogs On the Move

NOTE: Dogs can be changed or removed from this transport at the sole discretion of the MDOTM team.

NOTE: Our transports (per animal) are considerably less than any others traveling these long distances making multiple stops. This can be accomplished as SOME of our partners give a donation to offset the considerable cost. Of course, there are partners that cannot donate at all. However, we will always try and work with our partners to get these animals safely ON THE MOVE.

NOTE: If additional dogs are added, this fundraiser will be adjusted accordingly.

DOGS ON THE MOVE:

Luna A1322399.  A 2 year old black and white female Presa Canario mix. Her weight is 55lbs.  Luna was previously adopted from MDAS only to be returned due to “cost."  She is a sweet girl who has some fear issues that can be worked on.

Rockie A1477288.  A 2 year old black and brown male Rottweiler.  His weight is 114lbs.  He was surrendered by his elderly owners.  He had become too much for them to handle so they had no choice but to surrender him with broken hearts.  He has such an amazing personality that we just could not resist this handsome boy.  He was HW + and has been treated.

Tango A1511527.  An 8 month old brown male Rhodesian Ridgeback mix.  His weight is 32lbs.  Tango arrived at MDAS a little scared and shy but opened up very quickly.  He was supposed to go on the last NE van but had URI and was held back.  He is a very sweet boy who is just full of energy and will make a great work out buddy.

Mimi A0959996.   A  6 year old tricolored female Beagle mix.  Her weight is 23lbs.  She was surrendered by her owners due to moving.  Mimi is a very gentle girl who is housebroken. She had a bad URI and was treated.  She is doing much better now and can’t wait to be in her forever home.

Bonny A1519642.  A 1 year old tan female Terrier mix.  Her weight is 32lbs.  This adorable little girl was turned into MDAS as a stray.  She sat in her cage un-noticed for days.  No one saw how special she was but we sure did and our great partner agreed that she was magnificent without even meeting her.

Aribelle A1483351.  A 9 month old tri-colored female Pekingese mix.  Her weight is 12.4lbs.  This adorable girl was adopted from MDAS a few months ago and brought back due to “allergies."  She has a super sweet personality and is a wonderful dog.

Vanessa A1520870.  A 1 year old black and tan female Terrier mix.  Her weight is 21lbs.  This sweet girl was found as a stray and brought to MDAS.  She is very gentle and calm and will make a great addition to a calm family who enjoys kicking back and relaxing.

Chichi A1453796.  A 2 year old white and cream colored male Terrier mix.  His weight is 12lbs.  He was surrendered by his owners for personal reasons.  His URI has now cleared and he is ready to be on the MOVE!

Joe A1515168.  A 5 year old brindle and white male Bull Terrier.  His weight is 48lbs.  He was surrendered by his owner due to cost.  He arrived at MDAS with a skin condition.  He went into foster care with one of the rescue’s local fosters and received the medical care he needed for his skin condition.  He is doing much better now and can’t wait to be in a forever home.

Rita A1521591.   A 1 year old brindle and white female Bull Terrier.  Her weight is 40lbs.  This sweet girl was found as a stray wandering the streets of Miami.  She will be going to a great rescue partner who will find the perfect home for this sweet girl.

Rico A1437857.  A 3 year old white male Bull Terrier.  His weight is 42lbs.  This handsome boy has been at MDAS twice now but this will be the last time.  He was surrendered by his owners due to time/space.  He is a very good boy who just needs the right owner who will know how to care for him properly.

Tigger A1286787.  A 9 year old brindle and white male Bull Terrier.  His weight is 55lbs.  This little guy was adopted from MDAS a few years ago.  He arrived back at MDAS as a stray and his “owner” never came for him.  He has had some medical issues that the rescue partner has already taken care of.  He is feeling much better now.

Miko A1520829.  A 7 month old tan and black male Terrier mix. His weight is 13lbs.  This little guy arrived to MDAS as a stray.  He is a delightful little dog that is full of energy.  He loves to run around and play and does great with other dogs.

Negra A1520108.  A 2 year old tricolored female Welsh Corgi mix.  Her weight is 27lbs.  This gorgeous short legged girl was surrendered by her owners due to “too many pets."  She is very sweet and thrives in the company of other dogs.

Babe A1518669.  A 7 month old Red Chow Chow mix. Her weight is 32lbs.  This beautiful girl had an adopter hold who failed to show!  We don’t understand how this cutie was not adopted, she is gorgeous!

Peachez A1176869.  A 4 year old brindle and white female Boxer mix.  Her weight is 58lbs.  This Beautiful girl was surrendered by her owner for personal reasons.  She is very sweet and loves children.  She does well with large dogs but will be best kept apart from small animals.

Diesel A1465050.  An 8 month old black male German Shepherd mix.  His weight is 46lbs.  This handsome dude was surrendered by his owners for “personal” reasons.  He is a very sweet and active boy who gets along great with other dogs and loves to be around people.  He is still a puppy and will need some training and a lot of exercise.

Carl A1521440.  A 1 year old tricolored male Bull Terrier.  His weight is 35lbs.  This adorable boy was surrendered by his owner due to “personal” reasons.  He is a very socialized Bull Terrier and gets along fantastically well with other dogs.  He is a great dog with an awesome personality and adorable looks.

Tyson A1517522.  A 1 year old black and brown male Rottweiler mix.  His weight is 60lbs.  This lucky guy was literally saved seconds before he was euthanized.  He was pulled right off the table! He was labeled as “aggressive” and had been sitting in the west wing for quite some time until he got URI and was moved to the URI section.  Melissa saw him being walked into the euth ward and stopped to ask why and to interact with him.  Teresa then ran into that room to get him at the final moment. They temp tested him and he was great with people, kids, dogs and cats.

Sam A1444013.  A 1 year old cream and white female Labrador Retriever mix.  Her weight is 46lbs.  This sweet girl was surrendered by her owner due to her behavior.  They did not state what the behavior issue was but we have seen no issues with her.  She is very sweet and loves to be around people and other dogs.

Nelly A1511675.  A 1yr 1mo old female Black Labrador Retriever mix.  Her weight is 48lbs.  Nelly came in to MDAS as a stray.  She is very sweet and calm and just wants to cuddle all day. Her URI has cleared and her foster family is already waiting for her with “welcome home” signs from what we have been told.

Tuti A1517114.  A 1 year old tan female Terrier mix.  Her weight is 27.8lbs.  She was surrendered by her owner due to “moving."  She sat in a run overlooked by adopters daily and began to lose hope.  She is very sweet but is a little shy at first.  She is calm and gentle and will do wonderful with a calm family.

Jessie A1515664.  A 7 month old male black and tan Labrador Retriever mix.  His weight is 33lbs.  This little guy arrived at MDAS underweight and very afraid.  He never tried to bite anyone, he was just very afraid of everything.  He is very submissive and sweet.  He wants to learn how to play with people but gets scared.  Who knows what he has been through before but that is about to be adistant memory.

Lilly A1518634.  An 8 month old tan female Labrador Retriever mix.  Her weight is 36lbs.  You see the fear in this poor baby’s face.  She was so afraid when we first met her that all she did was hide under her bed.  We spent time with her and within time she moved closer to us-- little by little.  She gets along great with other dogs and respects their boundaries.
